An authentic Boodua Creek artisan slow cooker recipe base!
600ml Country Lamb cooking sauce can be used with 2-3kg of meat depending how saucy you want your finished dish.
Once opened the jar will last up to 6 weeks in the fridge so is also ideal if you’re wanting to make a smaller portion.
Directions: Place up to 3kg of bone-in lamb shoulder, Jar of Country Lamb Slow Cook Sauce, 400ml can of diced tomatoes OR 500ml of chicken stock into the slow cooker or hot pot, cook on low for 8 hours.
Optional to add veggies of your choice during slow cooking or serve with mash and steamed greens!
Got left overs? Line a pie tin with puff pastry, fill with slow cooked lamb and bake until the puff pastry is brown and perfectly crisp.
