This Norton Combination stone is an Oil Stone made with aluminum oxide abrasive.
These two-sided stones feature a coarse side for establishing an edge and a fine side for refining the edge.
Ideal for general sharpening of flat wood working tools and knives. This combination bench stone has one side fine abrasive the other side coarse abrasive. Start sharpening on coarse side and finish with fine side. Lubricate stone with clean oil when sharpening tools. If stone becomes clogged wash with kerosene.
